How to Become a Non-Nurse IBCLC

Soon after my second son was born, I was thrown into the trenches of how difficult breastfeeding can be. I realized how little support there is out there - and how much misinformation exists about breastfeeding!

I started a Facebook group, which quickly grew, and I discovered a passion for helping breastfeeding mamas find a way to make breastfeeding work for them.

Through my journey, I realized I wanted to gain more and more education so I could help more people. While becoming an IBCLC seemed out of the realm of possibilities for quite some time, I realized it wasn't as far fetched as I thought!

After completing Pathway 3, I am set to sit for the IBCLC exam in March 2023. I love helping others discover their passion in this field and making it possible for them as well!
